A crazy idea: the massive participation of gay couples to Family Day That show would see them pull together to Mastella and companionship. After all, if a couple is gay is a family, that is their event.

fourth anniversary of the war in Iraq
The fourth anniversary of the war in Iraq (which is taking place today and tomorrow in the U.S. in Iraq) has been recalled worldwide with hundreds of peaceful demonstrations. The parade in Toronto, organized by the Canadian Peace Alliance, has been articulated by Yonge Street to Nathan Phill Square, where protesters have been the symbol of peace, holding hands. The pacifists demanding the withdrawal of Canadian troops from Afghanistan and Iraq and that the federal government end its support for the belligerent policy of George W. Bush. After the march, protesters peace messages written in chalk on the wall of the courthouse, located near the U.S. consulate.
Other demonstrations were held in Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax, Winnipeg and Hamilton. In Halifax, the former marine Dean Walcott, who served in Iraq within the ranks of the American army, spoke to the protesters. "We are here to condemn the leaders who send their soldiers on missions and failed to fight these ridiculous colonial wars," the military said that after twenty-five deserted is trying to obtain political refugee status in Canada. In Ottawa about 200 protesters marched chanting antiwar slogans accusing the Prime Minister of genocide. In Winnipeg, however, the peace activists carried banners with the face of Harper and Bush. More than 2000 Canadian troops in Afghanistan and their stay is expected until 2009. Since the beginning of the conflict were killed 45 soldiers and one diplomat. The last soldier killed is Corporal Kevin Megeney, killed March 9 by a shot of a firearm in the NATO base in Kandahar. 3200 are, however, the U.S. military killed since the conflict began, and 59 thousand Iraqi ones.
Numerous events were held in American cities, including Los Angeles, Denver and Chicago, but the most massive protest was in Washington where the anti-war movements have gathered to remember a double event: the anniversary of the war in Iraq and the fortieth of the historic peace march on the Pentagon in 1967 against the Vietnam War, which led to the arrest of 600 of 50 000 demonstrators. Yesterday the pacifists gathered before the Lincoln Memorial and then to march to the Pentagon. A counter demonstration was organized by groups in favor of the war in Iraq, which exhibited signs saying: "Those who oppose the war helps Al Qaeda" or "Fight the Jihad and not our soldiers." The march of peace had been preceded by a Saturday prayer rally for peace in the National Cathedral in Washington. The demonstrators were then went outside the White House for a protest demonstration unauthorized that led to the arrest of over 200 people (all handcuffed, loaded on some buses and fined $ 100). President Bush, in his radio address Saturday, defended the war in Iraq by warning the Democrats in Congress does not seek to impose "artificial timetable" for returning U.S. troops. Congress is considering legislation that provides funding for more than 95 billion dollars to fight the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Bush also cautioned Congress not to "impose arbitrary and restrictive conditions" use of such funds and has threatened to use the veto if the Democrats in Congress will try to impose deadlines that would only "disastrous consequences".
Other events were held in major world capitals. In Athens, for example, have marched over 1000 people while in Istanbul's parade had more than 3000 anti-war protesters. All to reaffirm their no to war.

Perennialism And Essentialism Vs Progressivism
The Middle Ages to your home
His Excellency Cardinal Ennio Antonelli has written in his own hand a text entitled Family and Society. The precious moral and political considerations will be given on the initiative of Ruini, all Roman families to "reflect on the social importance of the family." Postini outstanding priests of the diocese will Easter blessings engaged in house to house. The thought of Cardinal Antonelli proof "while being in harmony with the Christian faith, is developed based on experience and reason and can be shared by those who are not believers." Of course, Cardinal, his words will be shared especially by non-believers, so formidable is the power of his logos. At one time, says the Cardinal, the family was an oasis of happiness and prosperity.
"In many cultural traditions, the family as an institution has mainly aimed at the general good of society and to a lesser extent is regarded as a community of love between people. Even in our country was This is the situation in a rather distant past now. "
What time, Cardinal. The nostalgia is mixed with regret. But today? What happens now? The Arcadia is always there at your fingertips? Apparently not. Antonelli writes that:
"Today the cultural context has changed radically. E 'widespread individualistic mentality, priority must be given the rights and independence of the individual. Count what you hear, what is spontaneous and instant gratification, as if the wishes, feelings and emotions should not be governed by reason and oriented towards what is truly good. The family is being privatized, reduced to a simple affective relationship, with no social significance, as if it were merely a form of friendship. Indeed, the tendency to chase and eat emotions and feelings, to use the other person especially in their own satisfaction, undermines the relationship of torque, and prevents the building of confidence and a strong bond of belonging. "
That said, be prepared for an escalation of horror. Cardinal speaks for itself:
"the precariousness of the couple have a negative impact on the birth and education of children, compromising the good of society. It is not difficult to realize that people die without a birth and a people without education goes into decline. "
So, you want to undermine the family with laws against nature? Do it well, but you will be responsible for the decadence of Italy.
"In Italy we have the lowest birth rate in the world that there is on average one child per woman (or so), while it would take two (or so) to replace the population. Without a reversal, it is expected that soon the Italian population will be halved. Some might say: "So much the better! It'll be larger and will be better. " But this is completely untrue. The decline in population will bring with it a serious economic, social and cultural. Decrease the production of goods and services will become unsustainable payment of pensions and the elderly, than vice versa, because the overall aging of the population, will need more human and economic resources; you will not be able to ensure school and medical treatment free of charge, will taper off the transmission of our cultural heritage, just when you spread other cultures brought by immigrants. Not for nothing that John Paul II warned the Italian people from the risk of a "demographic suicide." The instability of the couple's relationship also causes serious damage to the education of children, often compromising their psychological wellbeing and predisposing to disordered and deviant behavior. A note on statistical surveys, with impressive percentages, the phenomena of social unrest, drug addiction, and micro macrocriminalità, suggesting easily what are the costs to society as a whole: just remember that some time ago in the U.S. 85% of Young was in prison grew up without the proximity of the father figure. "

That gate behind us
Until then he had advanced to the carefree et à early youth, a road that seems endless as children, where the years wear and tear with a light step, so that no one ì announce their departure. You walk quietly, looking around with curiosity à , there 'is just need to rush, no press and no one expects the back, even fellow proceed without thinking, often pausing to joke. From the houses, doors, great people greeted kindly, pointing to the horizon and beckons with smiles of understanding, so ì the heart begins to beat heroic and tender wishes, is savored on the eve of the wonderful things they expect more ù forward, not yet you see, no, but sure, absolutely certain that one day we'll get there. Still a lot? No, just across the river yonder ù at the bottom, go through the green hills. O is not already the case for à arrived? Are not these trees, these fields, this white house we were looking for? For a few moments one gets the impression that s ì and you would like to stop. Then we hear that the best is pi ù forward and takes the road without worry. Cos ì continue the journey in a confident expectation and the days are long and quiet, the sun shines high in the sky and it seems he never wants to drop the sunset. But at some point, almost instinctively, we look back and see that a gate is was bolted behind ours, closing the way back. So you feel that something is changed, the sun seems more ù motionless but moves quickly, is alas, there is no time to fix that already à River rushes toward the horizon, we notice that the clouds do not stagnate in most ù gulfs of blue sky but flee crossing over one another, so is their grief, we understand that time is passing and that the road will one day à even finish. They close at some point behind us a heavy gate, shut themselves with lightning speed à time ago and did not return.

Occupation: President of Sicily Region
Believe me, a great video. In 1991, the relay between Samarkand and Michele Santoro Maurizio Costanzo Show, the intervention of a young, bespectacled Totò Cuffaro. There are at least three issues that clash within ten seconds, Maurizio Costanzo, and his frown, the great Giovanni Falcone and his bitter smile; Totò Cuffaro Totò Cuffaro on his face, dressed as Toto Cuffaro. "Journalism mafia that was done tonight it hurts to Sicily than ten years of crime." This tells Totò Cuffaro. But it does not say just that. He also says many other things. No matter how bitter it out today Costanzo has stopped being a journalist, Falcone was killed, Cuffaro ago the president of the region of Sicily. I do not know about you, but to me this thing makes an impression. Enjoy.

from Trondheim, a city close to the Norwegian Arctic Circle, arriving Motorpsycho, one of the most amazing 90 years of rock and at the same time less known to the general public. In their many works in the studio, and even more in their long and aggressive live shows, Motorpsycho show a remarkable eclecticism, and this unique ability to take on the teachings of their disparate masters (the Who to Pink Floyd, from Sonic Youth to Dinosaur Jr.) remixing and updated always with a good dose of personality. Investigators of reckless mergers between genders, the meso Motorpsycho have revealed a peculiar attitude to combine sounds "heavy", with virtuoso instrumental digressions psychedelic prints.

"As a citizen I am proud that our country is a reference to equality and respect. As a man I aspire to that our country is an example of living with full equality of rights for all. As prime minister of my country I have to take on the challenge of making Spain a symbol of peace and tolerance. The law allowing gay marriage to make us better as a country that gives dignity for many years to people who have suffered injustices. This law does not take away rights to anyone, but finally recognizes the dignity of homosexuals. This law supported by the majority of the people, politics and Parliament, is the symbol of what needs to be a modern democracy. It has never been easier to work for equality, we have always been resistance to all of us, men and women, regardless of any difference, we were free and equal. For a long time the collective of lesbian, gay and transgender people have been able to maintain hope that someday that discrimination could disappear in our country. Many have offered evidence of great courage, responsibility and imagination chasing the dream a country where no one was discriminated against. Claiming a right to marriage between same-sex emanates from the spirit of the Constitution. It is a reform proposal that not only goes against anybody, but which will benefit all of society, because it adds without taking off. The new law will mean a widening of the right that every human being to freely choose the path of his life and the pursuit of happiness. There is much more at stake in the possibility of getting married. It is the recognition of the fullness as human beings, the dignity, equality unconditionally. There is always plenty to do, although from now there will be a before and an after. You a date that will go down in history as the day when gays and lesbians were recognized and reached the formal equality. One day when we recognize also the memory of those who have been victims of homophobia, the sexism of misunderstanding and intolerance. At times like those we are experiencing, we feel the 'civic pride in belonging to a modern country that strengthens its cohesion with the laws and policies of freedom and equality. Spain is making a decisive step that will consolidate into the world as a symbol of peace, law and tolerance. We Spaniards do not always have been, but we can and must be now. So every day we become a better country. "
